Christmas CD Project!!

The long awaited Christmas CD project is so close!  We have half the funds we need to complete the recording.  We need an additional $6000...  that's only 6 people donating $1000 or 12 people at $500...  well you get the picture, we need you!

We are so excited about this project.  It will not only be our first Christmas project, but it will also be our first full length CD to include original "Carolyn and Pat" material.

Please contact us ASAP, if you can help!  With your help we can make this project a reality in 2006! And of course, please keep this in your prayers.

The Foundation 100! is working!  We have approximately 40 members!  Pat and I are still looking for a total of 100 people to commit to a $20 donation per month to give us the financial base we need to be on the road full time!

Once again, we need you to make things happen!  See our web site for details!

Tales from the Road!

When we left you in the last issue of eNews, it was July 4th, 2004... As much as we love telling you our stories from the road, we are just TOO far behind.  Therefore we will briefly give you the low-down on the remaining events in 2004, so we can begin with more current stories and happenings in our next issue of eNews..

Thanks to Michael and Van for dinner and set-up
.  And thanks to David and Grant and their dog Rembrandt for sharing their beautiful home with us.

July 22–25 - UFMCC Region 7 Conference, Charlotte, NC
This was a great conference!  There were so many people we know there that it would be impossible to name them all!  Special thanks to Marsha Stevens and Cindy Pino for including us in the UpBeat concert, to
Candy for making it possible for us to sing in Service, FirstCoast MCC for being our table (booth) buddies and everyone of you that made us feel loved and appreciated.  Go Region 7!!

October 17 - Spirit Of Life MCC, New Port Richey, FL
Thanks to Pastor Doreen Shambrook and the New Port Richey gang... We arrived on clean up day and the place looked wonderful!

October 21-24 - UFMCC Region 2 Conference, Atlanta, GA
The conference was held at First MCC Atlanta.  I'm sure many of you have heard the stories of the church
flooding just a few weeks before the conference.  The repairs and remodeling were incredible.  God certainly does work in some strange ways, but it works!  The church was gorgeous!   Thanks to Barry who invited us to sing for Rev Elder Troy Perry's retirement barbeque.  It was a feast to behold!  Thanks Region 2!

October 24, 28 and 30-31 - UpBeat! Artist Atlanta Area Tour!
When we agreed to do the Atlanta Tour with UpBeat! we thought "This will be great...  touring our home turf!  This will be a snap!".  NOT!  We rehearsed the Friday and Saturday before our first gig (at our home church) and all was well.  Sunday morning, I felt like maybe some of my allergies were going to bug me again.  But by the end of the concert that evening I knew something was really wrong.  My (Carolyn) voice was gone!  I got an appointment with the Doc the following day and her advice was not to talk AT ALL and maybe I would be able to sing the following weekend (even though she advised against it).  Have you ever tried not to talk at all?  I am not a particularly outgoing person and some might say I don't talk much.  But not talking at all, is NOT easy!  I went to the concerts and it was killing me not to sing!  Justin, Terry Lee, Sandi and Pat all did a great job without me but still, this was supposed to be fun!  By Saturday, I was able to sing at least part of the concert and on Sunday a little more.  My voice was back to normal in two weeks, but what a bummer!

November 6-7 - Church of Our Savior MCC, Boynton Beach, FL
Thanks to Art and his dogs Lucy and Corky for housing us and helping to facilitate our visit!  Thanks to interim Pastor Anna and the entire Boynton Beach gang!  And thanks to Mary and Evie for dinner!

November 21 - The Rock MCC, Chattanooga, TN
Thanks to Dianne for facilitating our visit!  And thank you for a packed house and for the continuing support we feel from you.

December 18-19 - Bethel Church, Birmingham, AL
Thanks to Rev Marge Ragona, Shirley, Nancy, Denise and Eric.
Bethel, you are always so good to us!

Christmas in Florida with Pat's cousin and family
We are so blessed to have relatives that love us exactly the way we are...  and we know how lucky we are.  So many people in our community don't have family to love them.  Thank you Jim and Patti!  We love you!

We'll pick up next time with 2005 tour stories and then the trip to Alaska...  It was quite an adventure.  You won't want to miss the stories of our first RVing trip!  Thank you all for everything you do.  We appreciate your prayers and support more than you can possibly know.
